Launched yesterday, the Visions Photography Exhibition showcases the talent of 17 local photographers with the display of 42 pieces ranging from portraits, landscape, architecture, wildlife, nudes and conceptualized.
Curator of the event Karan Sahadeo related that the exhibition serves as a way for the Guyana Photographers’ group to break away from that dependency on the government to sponsor events of this nature events.
Sahadeo noted that it is the hope that the exhibition can be made into an annual event.
In the meantime, interested persons are free to view the exhibits at Fitzgerald House, 62 Hadfield Street from Monday to Friday. The exhibition is open to the general public and will run for ten days, with the last day being June 30.
