A broad-leaf compact form of Cordyline is cv. Hawaiian Sunset, with the old leaves being a deep burgundy and red while the new leaves are green and edged with pink. Another broad-leaf cultivar is cv. Hawaiian Rose. The new leaves are cream with pink and yellow markings and as the leaves mature they turn greenish/brown.
