Parking meter here: National Parking Systems/Smart City Solutions yesterday unveiled the type of parking meter that would be placed around the city if a highly controversial deal proceeds.
During the unveiling at City Hall, a demonstration of how the meter works was done by employees of the company. The solar-powered meter will be installed in the City Hall compound as a part of a pilot and test run. At the unveiling, Stabroek News saw councillors Junior Garrett and Welton Clarke along with staff from the city council.
