A Kitty businessman was arrested earlier this week and subsequently released after he was questioned in connection with the lobbing of a grenade outside the Kaieteur News’ office almost one month ago.
Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum told Stabroek News that the businessman was arrested on Monday and questioned. This newspaper understands that the businessman was detained after it was suspected that he had knowledge of the crime. At least two of his relatives were reportedly among the suspects who were initially arrested and questioned.
