Guyanese will now be able to access additional flights to Brazil and Curaçao thrice weekly after Cabinet recently granted approval for Insel Air to operate additional flights out of Guyana.
Minister of State Joseph Harmon told a post-Cabinet press briefing yesterday that the airline was originally granted permission for daily flights to Curaçao in 2014. “What this will do, it will improve the direct connectivity between Guyana and Brazil,” Harmon said.
The additional flights will commence on July 3.
