Bounty GCC defeated St. Stanislaus 4-2 when the Lucozade Indoor Hockey Championships continued on Friday at the National Gymnasium.
Daniel Hooper, Michael Craig, Kevin Spencer and Steven Xavier ensured the Bourda based unit claim the hardfought result as they scored in the 12th, 21st, 32nd and 39th minute respectively.
For the loser, Hilton Chester scored a first half brace. Meanwhile in the second fixture, Hikers dismissed Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) Vintage by a 7-3 margin led by second half hat-tricks from Aroydy Branford and Andrew Stewart.
The event will resume on Tuesday at the same venue.
