The Central Islamic Organisation of Guyana (CIOG) is informing all Muslims that the crescent for Ramadan has been sighted; therefore Eid ul Fitr will be celebrated today.
The CIOG extended Eid Mubarak greetings to the Muslim community.
Eid Prayer begins at 5:45am at the MYO Compound, a CIOG release said.
