Caricom fever: Students dressed for the culture day of the Institute of Business Education (IBE), a private secondary school on the East Coast of Demerara on Friday. Unlike previous culture days which showcased only Guyanese culture, this year the school opted to have its students learn about and display Caribbean cultures. This was aimed at making students tolerant of the way of life of the Caribbean people they often come across in their Social- tudies classes. The culture day precedes a week of academic activities, which will see students from the school’s two Branches (Enmore and Lusignan) compete in Spelling Bees, Quizes and Debated. (IBE photo)
