Today will mark two years since Panama’s Copa Airlines began serving Guyana.
A release from Copa said that during this time the Airline has been able to expand its service and strengthen its partnership with a number of individuals and groups in the country.
It said that heightened demand for Copa’s service saw the Airline announcing the addition of two more flights per week last October, bringing the total number of flights per week to four.
Commenting on Copa’s two years of service to Guyana, Regional Sales Director, Diego Bermudez Parra said the Airline has been able to solidify its Guyana route.
“The journey has been an exciting one over the last two years. We have been able to successfully expand our service to reach a wide cross-section of persons traveling to the beautiful country of Guyana and other 73 destinations in 31 countries”, he said.
Copa said it has also been working to strengthen social partnerships in Guyana over the past two years.
Sales Manager in Guyana, Nadine Oudkerk, says the Airline has been proud to collaborate with a number of Guyanese by providing return air travel to destinations around the world.
