I refer to the article on page 8 of your newspaper of Friday, July 15, 2016, captioned ‘Cabinet decided on retroactive pay for GPL board members -former PM testifies …’
Your reporter apparently totally misunderstood what was said. She reported the exact opposite of what I said, which was that the cabinet decision (of which I have knowledge) approved payment of increased fees as of the current date. As in my letter to the editor of August 2015, concerning media reports of a number events at GPL, I further said that the question of arrears was raised but to my knowledge was open (and still on the table) at the end of my mandate.
