Guyana’s top male and female badminton players Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani will compete at the Pan American junior badminton tournament to be held July 19-23 at the Centro de Alto Rendimiento Lima, Peru.
According to a press release from the Guyana Badminton Association (GBA)
Narayan will compete in the Under-19 singles and doubles while Priyanna a four-time Panam juniors medal winner, compete in the Under-15 singles and doubles and Under-19 mixed doubles.
According to the release the two players will also attend the Pan Am High Tech Junior Academy which runs from July 23-30.
“The GBA would like to thank the Guyana Olympic Association and the National Sports Commission for sponsoring an airline ticket for the players and also Mr. Yesu Persaud of Demerara Bank, Mr. Philip DaSilva, Mr. Neville Osman and the Continental Group of Companies (SUNBURST) for their contribution to help make this tour possible,” the release ended.
