The Moco Moco hydro power facility is expected to come on stream shortly as the Government has been successful in securing $200M in international financing, Minister of Social Cohesion Amna Ally, told over 100 residents at the Moco Moco Primary School over the weekend.
A release from GINA said that the facility is expected to provide jobs for the residents, and improve the standard of living and develop their community.
“Surely this government wants your development; we don’t want you to feel excluded. The things the people on the coastland are experiencing, you must experience it too and so this government, this coalition government, this palm and key government that is what it is working towards,” Ally told Moco Moco residents.
