Bounty Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), Hikers and GCC Vintage secured contrasting wins when the Lucozade Indoor Hockey Championship continued on Friday at the National Gymnasium on Mandela Avenue.
In the feature contest, Bounty GCC edged Old Fort Stallions 7-5. Orlando Semple netted a helmet-trick in the 12th, 20th, 25th and 31st minute while Kevin Spencer scored a brace in the seventh and 31st minute and Michael Craig netted in the 29th minute.
For the loser, Jason Clarke scored in the 14th and 16th minute while Dwight Sullivan, Omar Hopkinson and Jason DeSantos scored in the fourth, fifth and 40th minute respectively.
Meanwhile in the second affair of the triple-header, Hikers mauled Saints by a 7-0 margin. Robert France scored a helmet-trick-trick in the 13th, 23rd, 24th and 37th minute.
He was assisted by a double from Aroydy Branford in the 16th and 36th minute and a solo strike from Randy Hope in the 26th minute.
On the other hand, GCC Vintage downed Old Fort Knockers by a 5-2 scoreline in the opening matchup of the night.
For the Bourda unit, Alan Fernandes recorded a second half brace in the 21st and 38th minute while Devin Hooper, Dwayne Scott and Eric Hing scored in the 22nd, 35th and 39th minute correspondingly.
On the other side, Jael Gaskin and Stephon Sprosta scored in the 14th and 27th minute apiece.
