Anisa Mohammed starred with the ball as Trinidad and Tobago defeated Guyana by five wickets yesterday in the ongoing West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Women’s T20 tournament played at the Providence National Stadium.
Mohammed, a senior member of the West Indies team, snared 4-9 to help keep the hosts to 63-8 in 20 overs after Trinidad lost the toss and had to bowl first in the low-scoring encounter.
Skipper Tremayne Smartt and Melanie Henry scored 14 runs respectively for Guyana who have now lost two of their three matches so far with their final match to be played today.
