Dear Editor,
I was very saddened to hear of the death of my good friend Professor Bishnodat (Vishnu) Persaud. He was a very generous friend with excellent, informed lunches at the RAC club in London. He was excited about ideas, especially about Guyana.
‘Vish’ was also very generous to the Warwick Centre for Caribbean Studies.
I shall miss him. Cremation is at Golders Green Crematorium this Friday at 2pm.
