The outage of internet connectivity to airlines in Guyana is due to the failure of the Americas 11 cable system near the shore of Martinique, GTT said today.
In a statement, GTT said that the cable consortium has been “working tirelessly” to restore this service and it will continue to provide updates.
GTT says it has redundant infrastructure and is working with the airline reservation management system, SITA to migrate to redundant routes.
GTT says it would like to reassure customers that the internet infrastructure is working well via the redundant paths.
