Digicel has once again flexed its corporate muscle for the Guyana Cup.
For the fifth consecutive year, the telecommunications giant has agreed to sponsor the E & Lower Class event. The company will be donating the grand prize and the winner’s trophy for that race.
The sponsorship became official yesterday after Louanna Abrams, Digicel’s Sponsorship Executive, handed over the pact to Compton Sancho, one of the Coordinators of 10th Annual Guyana Cup.
Meanwhile, in excess of $30M will be up for grabs when the Port Mourant Turf Club in Collaboration with Jumbo Jet Auto Sales presents the annual fixture on Sunday.
Nine races are carded for the event.
