The Piratic Flycatcher is so named for its tendency to appropriate the dome-shaped nests of other birds such as the Yellow-rumped Cacique. The Piratic Flycatcher is generally olive-brown in colour with a white face and dark eye line and moustache. It feeds on fruit and insects.
