After both Narayan and Priyanna Ramdhani lost their singles semi-final matches, the Guyanese rebounded to reach the mixed doubles and the boys doubles final.
In the boys’ doubles semi-final, Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra defeated Jade Allman and Joshua Smith of Trinidad 21-11, 21-18, while Narayan Ramdhani reached his second final teaming up with his sister Priyanna to defeat Renaldo Sinanan and Jade Renales also of Trinidad 21-8, 21-7.
In the U19 boys singles, top seed Narayan Ramdhani lost to the number three seed Cesar Adonis Brito Gonzalez of the Dominican Republic 18-21, 21-19, 11-21.
In the girls’ singles semi-final, Priyanna Ramdhani lost to Barbados’ Amanda Yearwood 14-21, 21-13, 13-21.
The finals of the two events took place yesterday.
