Dear Editor,
Who can help me with a spot of family research? My great grandparents (Hutchinson/Clementson) lived, in the nineteenth century, in the house at the corner of Church and Cummings streets in Georgetown. Today it is the residence of the eminent neurologist Dr Walter Ramsahoye. Who knows any more about their time there and where do I go to find out? Was it a covert or overt synagogue? All pointers gratefully received at johnmair100@hotmail.com
Yours faithfully,
John ‘Bill Cotton/Reform’ Mair
