In the opening fixture at 16:30hrs, Santos will oppose the Guyana Police Force (GPF). The youthful Santos outfit secured their place at the expense of Pouderoyen FC compliments of a 3-2 extra time win in their previous fixture while the lawmen arrested Camptown 3-0 to seal their berth.
In the second matchup at 18:30hrs, Western Tigers will lock horns with Eagles FC of Linden.
Boasting the likes of Randolph Wagner and Philip Rowley in their lineup, the West Ruimveldt outfit clinched their berth to final eight stage after making light work of Den Amstel 7-2 whilst their opponents prevailed over Uitvlugt 1-0 in their fixture.
In the feature affair of the night, Linden heavyweights Winners Connection will match skills with the Mocha-based Riddim Squad and their family contingent of the Hopes, the Stewarts and the Ramsays from 20:30hrs.
The veteran outfit from the Mining Town earned their place in the quarterfinal after dismissing Victoria Kings 2-0 and will look to the strike duo of Rawle Gittens and Marmarlaque Davidson to ensure another win.
Riddim Squad punched their ticket from the round of 16 stage following a walkover win against Beavers FC whilst Ann’s Grove has already sealed their place in the semi-final.
Winner of the event will receive $700,000 and the championship trophy compliments of Aruwai resort while the runners-up will pocket the package of $300,000 and Ansa McAl trophy.
On the other hand, the third placed finisher will receive $200,000 and the corresponding John Fernandes titled trophy while the fourth placed unit will receive the package of $100,000 and the Ministry of State accolade.
