International Cub Basketball will be returning to local shores as the Guyana Amateur Basketball Federation (GABF) will host a two-match tour against Dutch unit De Arend (The Eagles).
The event which is set to commence on Friday, will witness the Dutch outfit matching skills with two of Guyana’s leading clubs. In the tour opener on Saturday, number-three ranked Pacesetters will lock horns with the visitors while in their final matchup, the Surinamese will oppose Road to Mecca Champions Colts on Sunday.
They will depart local shores on Monday. All feature matches will take place at 21:30hrs.
In the supporting matches on Saturday, the national u16 team will oppose the Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) u19 side from 17:30hrs while Plaisance Guardians will oppose Republic Bank Nets from 19:30hrs in the second fixture.
On Sunday at 17:30hrs, Rose Hall Town Hammers will lock horns with Pepsi Sonics while Dynas Ravens will tackle Victory Valley Royals in the second exhibition at 19:30hrs.
