The preliminary inquiry (PI) into the murder charge against Beverley Persaud and Oswald Yaw, who are accused of killing block maker, Nathan Persaud continued yesterday with the testimony of two policemen.
Persaud was murdered on September 10, 2015 at his Herstelling home. The man’s body was later discovered by a neighbour, after overhearing screams coming from the residence and later seeing a strange man leave the premises.
During yesterday’s court proceedings, before Magistrate Judy Latchman, Inspector Shivram Gouveia continued giving evidence while Officer Dwayne Harvey followed.
The matter was later adjourned by Magistrate Latchman to September 5.
