Ranks of the Guyana Police Force acting on information received from an Authority, that persons were involved in Trafficking in Persons, last night conducted raids on two popular business locations, in Charlotte Street, Georgetown.
Sixteen persons, inclusive of fourteen foreign nationals have been detained and are assisting with the investigation, police say.
