Dean Hassan of Tesouro Resources last week sent a team to six orphanages around Georgetown to assist them with preparations for their return to school today, a release from the company said.
The orphanages visited were the St. Ann’s Orphanage, Joshua House, West Ruimveldt Children’s Home and Care Centre, St John’s Bosco Orphanage and the Shaheed’s Boys and Girls Orphanage. Shoes and socks were donated to 241 children at the orphanages, the release said. The Sophia Drop-In Centre was also visited.
