A Kingston resident was yesterday afternoon robbed of a quantity of cash by two bandits moments after carrying out a business transaction.
According to reports reaching Stabroek News, the incident occurred around 1:50pm yesterday while Denzil McFarlane was walking along Barrack Street, Kingston, Georgetown.
The bandits exited a motor car and relieved McFarlane of a bag containing $47,000 and his cellular phone before escaping.
The matter was reported and an investigation has been launched.
No arrest had been made as yet.
