Re Notice To Mariners on Thursday, September 8, 2016, I believe Hurakabara River Resort is on the left bank of the Essequibo River, not the right.
The left bank of a river or stream is determined by the direction of flow towards the sea or lake. Hence the left bank of the Essequibo is the western shore. This is taught in a school’s Geography class.
