Unbeaten Den Amstel claimed an easy 3-0 win over Beavers FC when the
National Milling Company (Namilco) Thunderbolt Flour u17 National Championships West Demerara leg continued on Monday.
Edward Dash opened the scoring at the Den Amstel ground as he found the back of the net in the 13th minute. Within moments it became 2-0 as Mortland Peters netted one minute onward.
The home side applied the finishing touch in the form of Reuben Dainty who found the back of the net in the 54th minute. Den Amstel remains in the top position with 12 points from four wins in as many games while Beavers remain in third position on three points. Action in the event is billed to continue on Saturday at the same venue.
