Dracena deremensis commonly called Janet Craig originated from Tropical Africa.
Dracena Janet Craig is a greener version to Dracena fragrans commonly called Corn Plant and they are related to each other.
It has adapted well and is widely grown in Florida, USA, Guyana and the Caribbean as a potted indoor houseplant. Dracena Janet Craig and Dracena fragrans are elegant exotic potted plants which enhance hallways, entrances, homes and offices with their height. They can grow up to eight feet in height.
Dracena Janet Craig is known to produce lush foliage which remains dark green all year round. Plant Dracena Janet Craig in well-drained potting soil. Place indoors under bright light but not in direct sunlight. Water once per week and allow water to dry out before watering again. Leaves like to be misted.
Fertilize with Miracle Gro All Purpose Plant Food once per month.
If your plant becomes dusty, you can wipe the leaves with a soft cloth then apply Miracle Gro Leaf Shine on it for that glossy effect. If you are looking for elegant tall plants try Dracena Janet Craig. You will be happy you did.
