Beer Plant and Trisco secured contrasting victories when the Banks DIH Limited Inter-Department 5-a-side football tournament continued Tuesday at the company’s sports club ground, Thirst Park, with several preliminary matches.
The 2-0 win by Beer Plant over Special Event, was the largest margin of victory in the night’s proceedings.
Jamal McPherson and Collis Massiah were on target for Beer Plant while Trisco edged Central Service 1-0 through a Carl Rambahrose goal.
In the opening fixture Beer Plant and Trisco battled to a scoreless draw.
The event continues tomorrow.
