Two siblings were killed and their friend seriously injured when the vehicle they were travelling in earlier this afternoon collided with a truck at Friendship, East Bank Demerara.
Confirmed dead are Jonnel Armstrong and Phillip Armstrong, the sons of the Region Ten Health Officer Dr Pansy Armstrong and popular Linden dentist Dr Joseph Armstrong. The name of the injured friend was not immediately available but Stabroek News was made to understand that he is currently at the Georgetown Public Hospital where his condition is said to be critical.
The dead men’s brother-in-law Imran Khan told Stabroek News that the information he received was that the brothers, who were in their twenties, were in a white Rav 4 heading to Linden when they got into an accident at Friendship.
