Buxton United hammered rivals Victoria Kings 6-0 when the East Coast Demerara zone of the National Milling Company (Namilco) Thunderbolt Flour U17 tournament continued yesterday.
Played at the Melanie Community ground, Kobe Durant continued his goal scoring form as he bagged a brace in the 21st and 27th minute. Also recording a double in the first half was Isaiah Anderson in the 10th and 33rd minute.
The scoreline was completed compliments of a 53rd minute Dexroy Culpepper own goal and an 85th minute strike from Ronaldo Fredericks.
Also, Buxton Stars downed derby rival Buxton Youth Developers 3-0. Akeem Broom, Trentford Osbourne and Collin Wills scored in the 30th, 45th and 90th minute correspondingly.
In the East Bank of Demerara section, Agricola Red Triangle defeated Yarrowkabra Jaguars 3-2 while Kuru-Kururu Warriors gained a walkover from Mocha Champs.
Eagles too won by walkover against Wales FC in the West Demerara zone. The event will resume Saturday at the various venues.
