Five persons have been held by police after an early morning raid uncovered guns and a quantity of ganja at a nightspot in West Ruimveldt yesterday.
Police, in a press release issued yesterday, said that four men and a woman were assisting the police in their investigation into the discovery of two firearms, several rounds of ammunition and a small quantity of cannabis at the nightspot.
The release said that ranks, acting on information received, swooped down on the nightclub and carried out a search between 1.30am and 2.30am.
