Brewery audited Head Office by 78 runs when the Banks DIH Limited (Ltd) GT Beer Inter-Department tapeball cricket tournament continued Monday at the Thirst Park ground.
Asked to chase an imposing 149 for victory from their allotted 12 overs, Head Office stumbled to 70-8. R. Barnwell was the chief destroyer of the Head Office batting lineup with 3-5 from his three-over spell while R. Cummings grabbed 2-10.
Prior to successfully defending their total, Eustus Hinds top scored for Brewery with 67 runs an innings which included 6x6s and 4x4s. He was supported by M. King who chipped in with 43 runs aided by 6x4s.
The tournament continues today at the same location.
