Pouderoyen FC grounded rival Eagles FC by a 3-0 margin when the Stag Beer sponsored West Demerara Football Association (WDFA) Senior League continued yesterday at the Den Amstel ground.
Marvin Frank broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute, skipping past two centre-halves following a run from the midfield area before slotting past the goalkeeper to the left side in a one on one situation.
Following the resumption of action in the second half, Dwayne St. Kitts made his presence felt as he scored from a counterattack following a cornerkick in the 55th minute.
Racing down the centre of the field, St. Kitts upon latching onto a left side cross from Frank, placed his effort across the body of the goalkeeper and into the left corner.
The contest was then put to bed 20 minutes onward as Jermin McDonald scored, receiving a perfectly weighted pass from St. Kitts following a eight pass team combination before lashing past the advancing goalkeeper from inside the area.
