Dear Editor,
Since the general election in 2015, I have been advocating that the Ministry of Health place pictures of President David Granger and Prime Minister Moses Nagamootoo in health centres across Guyana. To date, not one of my calls has been answered.
You cannot even get medication ‒ tablets like simple banocide, calcium, diclofenac, captopril and/or simvastatin among others for your illness.
I went to print some documents at Metro, Quamina Street, and right there full in public view were our leaders’ pictures proudly adorning its walls. All the permanent secretaries and clerks should be sent on rest; they are tired.
In nine out of ten government buildings you can’t see a picture of a government minister, that is why our people are behind times.
Yours faithfully,
David Noel
