The Preliminary Inquiry (PI) into the charges against Alfie Garraway, Janiel Howard and Leroy Williams, the three men accused of throwing a grenade at Kaieteur News, continued yesterday with evidence being given by a police witness and the network administrator for the company.
The three men are charged with unlawfully and maliciously conspiring with other persons to cause an explosion by way of using a grenade, which was likely to endanger life or cause serious damage to property on June 4th, 2016.
Police Prosecutor Neville Jeffers yesterday called to the stand woman police Constable Natasha Johnson and Somal Sharma, the network administrator for Kaieteur News to present their knowledge of the incident.
The witnesses presented their evidence before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan, who is presiding over the PI.
There are two prosecution witnesses left to give evidence in the PI, which was adjourned until November 9th.
