Harding overcame a determined Gianni Carpenter 11 – 7, 11 – 8, 7 – 11, 10 – 12, 11 – 5 in their Category-B contest. On the other hand, Alphonso defeated Lucas Jonas 13 – 11, 11 – 8, 11 – 7 while Ethan Jonas bested Demetrius De Abreu 11 – 4, 11 – 5, 3 – 11, 11 – 8 in the Category-C showdowns.
In-Category E, James Mekdeci defeated Mohyryan Baksh 7 – 11, 11 – 8, 12 – 10 while Mohyryan Baksh mauled Haley Carpenter 11 – 4, 11 – 3, Paige Fernandes crushed Nathan Rahaman 11 – 6, 11 – 2 and Haley Carpenter needled Nathan Rahaman 12 – 10, 11 – 6.
Mikhail Persaud squeaked past Shiloh Asregado 11 – 4, 11 – 3, Louis Da Silva battled past Chad De Abreu 9 – 11, 11 – 5, 11 – 4 and Nicholas Verwey edged Liam Carpenter 11 – 8, 11 – 6 in Category-F.
The lone Category-G fixture witnessed Jahcinta Adams defeating Beau Fernandes 11 – 6, 12 – 14, 11 – 7. Meanwhile Rayden Persaud defeated Lucas Persaud 15 – 13, 11 – 8 and Elan Rahaman edged Rayad Boyce 11 – 4, 15 – 17, 11 – 3 in Category-H.
In Category-I, Aishani Persaud defeated Jared Saul 11- 8, 4 – 11, 11 – 6 and Malia Maikoo 11 – 5, 12 – 10 while Dhiren Persaud crushed Grant Fernandes 11 – 6, 13 – 11 and Saul 11 – 7, 12 – 10.
Continuing in the same section, Joshua Verwey defeated Grant Fernandes 14 – 12, 11 – 5 while Saul beat Joshua Verwey 11 – 8, 12 – 10 and Noah Rahaman edged Maikoo 8 – 11, 13 – 11, 12 – 10.
On Friday at the same venue, Shomari Wiltshire squeaked past Alex Cheeks 11 – 6, 6 – 11, 11 – 9, 11 – 7 in their Category-A contest while in Category-B, Makeda Harding downed Maya Collins 11 – 3, 11 – 6, 11 – 7 and Rebecca Low defeated Samuel Ince- Carvahal 6 – 11, 12 – 10, 11 – 6, 11 – 6.
Madison Fernandes battled past Abosaide Cadogan 11 – 9, 11 – 7, 8 – 11, 5 – 11, 11 – 9 and Kirsten Gomes bested Jason Gomes 11 – 5, 11 – 5, 11 – 5 in Category-D while Demetrius De Abreu edged Lucas Jonas 11 – 6, 11 – 5, 11 – 3 and Michael Alphonso overcame Ethan Jonas 11 – 9, 11 – 6, 11 – 7 in the Category-C fixtures.
In Category-E, Zachary Persaud brushed aside Nathan Rahaman 11 – 7, 11 – 8 and Zachary Persaud dismissed Haley Carpenter 11 – 4, 11 – 5.
Mikhail Persaud downed Liam Carpenter 4 – 11, 11 – 6, 11 – 7 while Nicholas Verwey defeated Chad De Abreu 12 – 10, 9 – 11, 11 – 5 and Louis da Silva crushed Shiloh Asregado 11 – 3, 11 – 3 in Category –F.
In Category-G, Beau Fernandes overcame Osmond Mack 11 – 8, 8 – 11, 11 – 7 and Teija Edwards needled Isabella Ramjohn 11 – 8, 3 – 11, 11 – 8.
Elan Rahaman defeated Lucas Persaud 11- 7, 11 – 8 while Rayad Boyce squeaked past Rayden Persaud 6 – 11, 11 – 8, 12 – 10 in Category-H.
In Category-I, Noah Rahaman beat Jared Saul 11-6, 11-5 while Dhiren Persaud defeated Malia Maikoo 11-7, 11- 7 and Aishani Persaud edged Joshua Verwey Saul 11-7, 17 – 15.
The finals will take place today at the same venue form 11:00hrs.
