Buxton United and Botafogo battled to a 2-2 draw when the Turbo Energy Drink sponsored Fruta Conquerors U19 Academy League continued Saturday at the Tucville Community ground.
Kurt Abrams opened the scoring in the seventh minute for the Buxton United. The Lindeners equalised through Antwoine Gill, who scored in the 13th minute.
The East Coast of Demerara unit retook the lead 11 minutes later as Jason Gordon scored. However Kelon Primo earned a share of the spoils for the Mining town unit in the 49th minute.
The event will resume tomorrow at the same venue. At 17:00hrs, Western Tigers will lock horns with Black Pearl while Santos will battle Botafogo from 19:00hrs.
