BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC – Leaders Barbados Pride and Leeward Islands Hurricanes were left frustrated after rain forced the abandonment of the opening day of their third round contests in the Regional Four-Day Championship on Friday.
Pride had been scheduled to square off with hosts Jamaica Scorpions at Sabina Park in Kingston while Hurricanes were set to battle Trinidad & Tobago Red Force at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain, but wet conditions at both venues, caused by heavy rain, ruled out play without a ball bowled.
