The Georgetown Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (GCUSA) recently held their annual general meeting (AGM) at which the office bearers for the 2016-17 period were elected.
The AGM was held last week, at the Local Government Union building on Woolford Avenue, and saw members and local umpires being elected for various posts within the association ahead of the new year.
Guyana and International umpire Nigel Duguid is now the President of the GCUSA, while Moses Ramnarine will serve as Vice-President.
Mikowanayah Yosef Yisrel was elected as Secretary, with Javed Persaud as the Treasurer. Ryan Banwarie will fill the position of Asst. Secretary/Treasurer, and the Public Relations Officer is Ravishwar Latif.
Deon Feassal, Andre Hurry and Mark Scott were elected as Committee members.
