The Guyana Police Force is seeking the assistance of the public to locate Ravi Maniram, who is wanted for questioning in relation to fraud committed on the force earlier this year.
In a press release issued yesterday, the police said Maniram, 42, whose last known addresses are Over-winning and Islington Front, both in East Bank Berbice, is wanted for fraud committed on the Guyana Force Police between January 11th and February 1st this year.
Stabroek News was reliably informed that Maniram was previously employed with the Guyana Oil Company Limited, where he is alleged to have produced a series of forged invoices for gas purchases.
Anyone with information that may lead to his arrest is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 333-3876, 333-2151-3, 225-2227, 225-0575, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with the strictest confidence, police added.
