The Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) and the Dinanath Ramnarine-led National League Committee (NLC) will not know if there will be a stop put to elections.
The TTTCB should have had elections on October 22 during the organisation’s Annual General Meeting, however, a court injunction brought by Ramnarine forced its postponement.
The NLC is looking to the courts for a judicial review to stop the elections pending changes to the TTCB constitution, so as to remove a bi-law which allows the incumbent Executives 12 votes.
According to Ramnarine, the constitution allows for an unfair advantage to the incumbents.
The matter first moved from November 8 to yesterday, but has now been postponed to another date.(Sportsmax)
