Submissions were on Wednesday presented to the court by defence attorneys for the three men accused of the Kaieteur News (KN) grenade attack.
It is alleged that Alfie Garraway, Janiel Howard, and Leroy Williams, unlawfully and maliciously conspired with other persons, to cause an explosion by way of using a grenade, which was likely to endanger life, or cause serious damage to property.
The Preliminary Inquiry which continued before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan saw attorneys Stanley Moore, who represents Garraway, and Neil Bollers, who represents Williams, laying over submissions to the Chief Magistrate and a copy to the prosecution.
Chief Magistrate McLennan adjourned the matter to December 19, when the prosecution is expected to reply.
