Dear Editor,
It ought to be noted by anyone who reads the newspapers that Mr Rawle Welch has been consistently hammering the Guyana Olympic Association chief K Juman-Yassin for non-performance. From all the evidence in the light of what we have been seeing/not been seeing, I agree with him. Mr Juman-Yassin has been at the helm of the GOA for over 20 years and really there is nothing much in terms of progress to show, I concur with all those who say he has failed dismally, and the time has come for him to step aside, and allow someone else to take over. Juman-Yassin is not the game and the game is not Juman-Yassin. What is it with this stubbornness in not wanting to let go of the reins of control after 20 plus years of stewardship and nothing to shout about? He should be a man of stature and step aside.
Yours faithfully,
Frank Fyffe
