The Guyana National Under-15 boys team (Junior Jaguars) got off to the worst possible start in the Claude Elise football tournament in French Guiana going down to Martinique on Monday.
The Guyanese lost 0-5 in what was the first international match for the unit. Up to press time, they were in action against Guadeloupe in their final group fixture.
Guyana’s participation in the tournament is being as part of their preparation for the CONCACAF U15 Championship in August 2017.
