President David Granger and the Government of Guyana have extended sympathies to Member of Parliament Priya Manickchand on the passing of her mother, Hyacinth Manickchand.
Hyacinth Manickchand was an educator and served as a Head Mistress and later as Placement Officer in the Ministry of Education for number of years until the time of her retirement, a release from the Ministry of the Presidency said yesterday.
President Granger extended condolences to Priya Manickchand, her father, Krishendat Manickchand and her siblings Anil and Jaya Manickchand.
