The police have completed their investigations into the 2014 murder of waitress Debra Blackman and the case file is expected to be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) today for legal advice.
This is according to Crime Chief Wendell Blanhum who said that the suspect, Shelton George called ‘Boorie,’ who was arrested last Wednesday at his mother’s Better, Hope, East Coast Demerara home remained in custody.
The police, acting on information received, arrested George, who is now confined to a wheelchair.
