Phillip H Mozart Thomas is wanted by the police for questioning in relation to fraud which occurred between 2016-02-04 and 2016-05-20.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Thomas is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 227-2128, 226-1389, 226-7065, 225-6411, 225-2227, 225-0575, 911 or the nearest police station.
All information will be treated with the strictest confidence.
Last September, Massy Security Guyana Inc, published notices in the daily newspapers asking Thomas to make urgent contact. An official of the company said at the time that Thomas owed a “large sum of money.”
Massy was not the only entity that Thomas owed. In 2014, a $4M cheque tendered to pay for the use of the Guyana International Conference Centre (later renamed Arthur Chung Convention Centre) at Liliendaal for a civil society summit, bounced.
Thomas had been a contestant for a seat on the Mayor and City Council at March’s local government elections.
