A new executive will be in the driver’s seat steering the affairs of the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMR&SC) for the 2017/2018 season.
Following last night’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and election of office bearers at the club’s headquarters at Albert Street, Thomas Lands, Rameez Mohamed was voted to take over the wheel from outgoing president, Mahendra Boodhoo, and Mohamed Roshandin who also contested for the top post.
Hansraj Singh will take the reins as the new Vice President while Azim Jafar and Noel Seejatan were voted in as the new Secretary and Treasurer respectively. A full report will be published in tomorrow’s issue.
